Ukraine's first astronaut Leonid Kadenyuk dies at 67

Leonid Kadenyuk, the first astronaut of independent Ukraine and NASA STS-87 mission crew member, has passed today.

Leonid Kadenyuk piloted more than 50 aircrafts of different types, wrote five scientific works and published memoirs “Mission-Space” in 2009, where he described the details of his travel in space.

He was one of those who made the world to believe in Ukraine as in a space-faring state.
