UKRAINIANS IMPRESS ON AMERICA’S GOT TALENT
Tuesday’s performance of America’s Got Talent, Ukrainian dance team ‘Freckled Sky‘ received the Golden Buzzer from judge Howard Stern.
Their performance was breathtaking and inspiring. Freckled Sky consists of dance members Olga Sokolova and Jalen Preston and behind the scenes a whole cast of Ukrainians.
The duo, both in their 20s, danced in the rain on stage and incorporated light-infused images for their audition in front of the "America's Got Talent" judges and audience. After the two-minute performance was over, judge Howard Stern hit the rarely-used golden buzzer to send the duo to the round of live shows in New York.
"It was spectacular. Spectacular. I gotta tell you, that's the kind of thing I'm looking for," Stern told the duo, whose studio is in River North. Stern invited Freckled Sky producer Val Syganevich to the stage to take a bow.
"He's a genius," Stern said.
"America's Got Talent" airs Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on NBC. The winner of the season-long reality-show competition gets $1 million.
