The most Googled recipe in Ukraine this year was for Molotov cocktails

"In 2014 we searched trillions of times," Google says in its 2014 report, which is available for dozens of countries. "What do these searches say about us?"

For Ukraine, it says the year has been marked by a fiery revolution:

The top result for Ukrainians who search for Molotov cocktails is the Wikipedia article in Russian on the incendiary device that details its simple makeup: a glass bottle containing flammable liquid and a fuse.

Protesters have thrown Molotov cocktails a number of times in the yearlong unrest in Ukraine, setting fire to police buildings and armored personnel carriers, and at one point sparking a massive fire in a building full of pro-Russian activists, which left dozens dead.

Runners-up in the Ukrainian "recipe" category included Easter bread, pizza, cake and glaze. (The top U.S. recipe searches were for chicken, meatloaf and banana bread.)

In other searches, Ukrainians wondered how to wash a cat, loved The Bachelor and pondered how to save electricity.
